Scott Carrino is one of those rare rare people in the community who works from dawn to dusk (and then some) serving others, giving his all every day – and who somehow always has a positive, inspiring view on things. He’s the one I can count on for a word of encouragement and thanks when I need it most. He’s always there for us. He lives his life with sincerity, passion and purpose.
This clip is from an Open Mic night we held in the cafe downstairs last fall. The sweet voice in the background on this duet is his wife, Lisa. Even though the video and audio isn’t syncing perfectly, it helps me watch this and hear his voice.
Scott successfully got through bypass surgery this weekend. He’s doing well and the community is rallying to bake bread for the cafe and in any other ways they can.
We miss you Scott and are here for you! Come home soon.
