We start rehearsals for this extraordinary Pulitzer and Tony Award winning play by Doug Wright on Monday. Trey Morehouse arrives from North Carolina and Rylan Morsbach from NYC on Sunday to direct and act in this tour de force piece of theatre. The true story of Charlotte von Mahlsdorf, a transgender woman who lived through both Nazi and Soviet regimes, this piece will thrill you and even make you laugh. I saw it for the first time at Pauline Productions in Massachusetts (the theatre headed by Hall favorite Jeannine Haas) and I immediately thought it’d be a great fit for the Hall and our audiences. I invited Trey and Rylan to do it here -and it’s going to be an amazing event. We open March 8 and close March 17 (only two weekends). So get your tickets now! We are doing more and more to support and nurture the LGBTQI+ members of our community and this piece also supports and moves that conversation forward in great ways. I hope to see you there!
