Faculty Feature: The Amazing Gabi Moore

Gabi Moore is always in motion – creating, teaching, helping to manage one of our great local papers. She’s a wonderful artist and teaching artist. Two years ago we worked together to create banners for Main Street created with and by our local elementary school students answering the question “What does Cambridge mean to you?”

She’s always busy – and always joyful. She’s one of the many people who makes this place so special.

Who are you?  An Artist, Mom, Teacher.

What do you do at HH?  Lead art classes.

What are your biggest challenges at HH?  Predictability.

What else should people know about what you do?  I create my own art.

What do you love most about HH?

I love Hubbard Hall’s beehive quality of creativity. On a day wtih multiple classes happening at once there is a great energy tangible in the air of ideas, artworks, and connections being produced.

What should someone who comes here to class, a performance or just to hang out know about Hubbard Hall?

That you can feel comfortable using the space for your own creativity.
