Last night we had an amazing evening in Hubbard Hall – inspired and created entirely by the community itself, starting with the Roadside Blues Band and Laura Leigh, to assist our friends Scott and Lisa who do so much for this community every day – literally feeding us and giving us a safe, warm third space to gather and live in the Round House Bakery Cafe. Sponsored by Hubbard Hall, Argyle Brewing Company, and all the amazing artists and community members contributing their talents, food, beer and wine to celebrate our life and community here in Cambridge.
It was an evening of testimonials, performances and the warm love and power of our community. We could feel the strength and focus in the room grow as each person entered the Hall with purpose and passion to help and be a part of something larger than themselves. We need to keep building and focusing this power to do more good work for the people of our community.
