In the latest issue of American Artscape by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Honolulu Theatre for Youth is featured for their innovative work during COVID-19. With strong ties to their community and excellent artistry, HTY has adapted their touring shows to online videos, including this spot on parody of life at home for working parents during COVID-19. Hilarious, heartfelt, and a mix of entertainment and social satire, this video demonstrates how well theatres can reach audiences with online content. It’s also a bit shocking this was created in March of 2020, just weeks into the pandemic and already expressing the harried home life many of us continue to enjoy:
