We are surrounded by this beauty up here in Upstate NY. My wife and I left Washington, DC in 2014 in part to gain a quality of life we were missing in the city – for us and our kids. We miss the hustle and bustle sometimes – and some of the amazing people and opportunities we met there. But Washington County is beyond beautiful – a great place to live, filled with artists and people of conviction, compassion and creativity. In these mid-winter days (beautiful in their own right) it’s nice to remember that we will see the green again someday.
